I am a journalist, author, communications specialist, curator and social scientist.

My PhD on The Pleasures of War was inspired by my time as a UN communications advisor in Afghanistan and other conflict areas.

My first book, The Great Dead Body Teachers, is about whole body donation and the hidden world of dissection and anatomy, the engine room of medicine.
